A school's student mobility rate is the percentage of students who experienced at least one transfer in or out of the school during the school year.  Learn More 

 

Students may change schools for a variety of reasons such as a family move, a transfer to a school that better serves the student's needs, or a period of homelessness. Continual student turnover is shown to be academically and socially disruptive to both ongoing and transferring students.
