This display shows the participation rate, which is the percentage of students who participated in the science assessment, at this school or district.  Learn More

The participation rate is the percentage of students who participated in the assessment. It is calculated by dividing the number of students who received participation credit by the number of students required to test.

The “no participation” rate is calculated by dividing the number of students who did not receive participation credit by the number required to test.

The “overall” percentage combines participation across all science assessments.
